Bikini Babes

We were able to manage and sleep some that night sort of...as we came to life that morning we went down for some breakfast and out to the pool for a fruity cocktail, trying to decide what we were doing that day since we had left the Monte Carlo and our Rehab pool party was there along with possibly going to WET Republic with the guys, the decision was easy to make...everyone we knew was back at the Playboy Rehab party so we made our way over there...
John Quinn
We had a DJ bottle service..cabanas and tons of good looking people half naked of course enjoying the 80 degree sunshiny day! John was a great host..he did a wonderful job setting up our adult playground for the day. We frolicked in the sun around the pool doing what we do best...we also met a guy who could read your personality from you hand writing which was pretty awesome..He read me to a T! People were playing beer pong in the pool, girls were dancing. We were there for hours, we even got our exorcise on as we walked the lazy river backwards...(which by the way is difficult drunk)...
Mike and OJ
as we sat around joking and cracking up we were trying to decide what to do next... OJ and Mike were so hilarious that we couldnt keep straight faces all day...so I don't think it really much mattered at that point. We had previously talked about making our way to WET but wasn't sure by the end of the day if it was even open still...and we were having such a great time with free drinks there it almost wasn't even an option anymore...
As we walked around the pool some more and ran into this guy. He had on the BEST jersey ever...I swear I wanted it off his back!! My last name and Favorite number/ birthday...I was so overly excited I made him turn around just to take a picture. When we came back to the cabana...everyone finally had decided to venture over to WET Republic...LOL total mistake, but it was an interesting turn of events...
the sun was going down and people were leaving but NOOO we decided we HAD to go in just for the last hour or so...we chilled for a bit, and got more drinks...all weekend with them I was introduced to the pineapple and patron drinks (very yummy at the pool) these boys were the highlight of our extravaganza and how silly ridiculous they were...it was a drunk fest all day every day but a greattttt time!! I was soooo tired and ready to go back to Caesar's to pack...Unfortunately for myself I was on a red-eye flight home...(NEVER AGAIN) after packing I left for the airport solo, because Shayna decided to stay and extra night LOL, I was still so drunk from packing and my phone was dying, so I sat down at the gate on the floor next to an outlet plugged up my phone and fell asleep waiting on my flight...It as the longest, and most terrible flight I had ever been on! I vowed to myself never to fly a red-eye home from Vegas again! But Hey!, THAT'S VEGAS FOR YA!

Playboy Golf Vegas

It was sooo early in the morning and we had to be ready to leave the casino at like 930 am for the golf course...and getting to bed by 4 am from the previous night made it extremely hard! Somehow we managed to function early enough to catch the last bus going to the golf course. It was the calm before the storm when we arrived at the golf course...They assigned us to a tee box we were gona be at all day.
I was so excited, because Trae had taken me to the driving range while I was home so that I could start learning how to play...And with starting to take lessons, I really wanted to go warm up with some of the guys on the driving range....I went over there and hit a few good balls it was so fun! I learned a couple other techniques as well. So once everyone was assigned we all headed out to the course. I was really enjoying the day, the weather was beautiful....I mean that perfect breeze and sunshine that you expect for a day of golf.
Playmates and I
I do believe that the guys had an awesome time...everyone was so nice and friendly out sponsor was amazing...we didn't have alcohol on our tee, but we had it delivered kindly from golfers passing through. The Playmates were so awesome as well...We all got along like a family...it was definitely one of the best golf outings I had been on other than of course the finals in LA. Once the day was over we loaded the buses up and headed back to the Monte Carlo.
Mike and OJ our AZ Cards Boys
We had been drinking all day and cutting up with our boys from the AZ Cardinals that we decided to run up and change and head out with them for more drinks...we all went next door to the City Center to walk around and hangout...Later that evening we had dinner plans with Ajay the CEO of Playboy Golf and John from  the Monte Carlo, and a few other friends before the awards ceremony... We all made our way after dinner to the party and after that it was time to celebrate, gamble, and drink!
Our friends won the tournament...and it was GO time...we were having a great time until things started getting weird...I was really wanting to play some cards, but it just wasn't the right atmosphere...And this girl with us wasn't quite getting the picture still, that we didn't want her around...she didn't know how to handle herself or act appropriately, and we were sharing a room with her which made it weird.
So we packed up our stuff and snuck out!! YES! we did some black ops work on sneaking out of the hotel without her knowing, we had previously over heard her talking wrongly about Shayna which made it all the more while for us to bounce without notice...we had the cab take us to my friend's suite at Caesar's buttttt my dumbass left something in the room that I needed so I had to go back, only this time it was wayyyyy easier sneaking out because I didn't have luggage. Once everything was settled, we headed down to gamble a little...but it wasnt our night, or my friends he took a pretty bad hit losing pretty hard.
So we headed to the little cafe for a quick bite before bed and to our excitement we see people taking pictures around the main lobby fountain...it was a guy who stripped down naked swimming laps around the fountain....hahaha all of sudden he jumps up and runs out of the casino naked, LMAO he left his clothes in a pile on the floor....then we see him run back in for them, (Idiot) I guess he realized he didn't have them on...UMM can we say "drunk dare"...the next thing we know he is trying to put his jeans back on, but can't seem to get them up and busts his ass on the marble floor because he slips....haha this was the funniest thing I had ever seen...by that time security and LVPD had caught up to him and as he was resisting arrest they slammed him back on the ground, although it seemed as if he agreed to get up, he then tried to run,
baaaahahaha, yeh right! this fool was caught in a millisecond...all we could hear as the were trying to handcuff him was "Don't taze me bro, Don't taze me bro" and the people in the lobby chanting "LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO"....Needless to say this idiot was headed to jail and with no friends to be found LMAO, It was definitely an eventful end to an eventful day...but HEY,  That's Vegas for you!

Vegas Playboy Style

I think was home for maybe 2 weeks before leaving town on another Playboy Adventure. This time it was to conquer VEGAS!! Shayna, one of my best-est came with me...first off  it was a hassle trying to get a flight last minute because we didn't find out if we were booked to work until 2 weeks before the event. We were going to extremes to find people with flight vouchers or miles to help get there at a reasonable price... and we did I owe to a dear friend who booked us on miles to get there! SO we packed up and headed to the airport destination Vegas! She was definitely the Yin to my Yang all weekend...and how appropriate it was with our attire the first day to represent that. We hopped on the plane and connected in Atlanta where we met one of my friends who was connecting with us for a quick bite to eat. The we boarded our long flight to Vegas....It was a pretty sweet flight tho, we got to watch the NFL draft and played trivia with other members on the plane...haha and ummm we didn't do so well, but it was still fun.
Once we landed in Vegas the car picked us up and took us to the Monte Carlo where we would be staying for the Playboy Golf tournament, and my friend went to Caesar's. We checked in and headed up to the room to get ready for the evenings events that were to be held at Diablo's. This place was so cool, we had the upstairs booked for the private party. It has an amazing patio that over looks the Las Vegas Strip.
Not only was it fun to be having drinks on the patio, but it was beautiful night and it was rather eventful because we had this girl who followed us out there that Shayna knew from home, but she just wasn't getting the picture that we didn't want her around us anymore, but being the nice girls that we are, after the welcome party we headed down to the lobby to meet our friend who was in town, when she rolled up in this badass 2010 Bentley Continental GT....we were like ummm WOW...HELL YEH this night just got wayyyy better...it was definitely a great ride down the strip to the Encore Las Vegas....needless to say...I fell in love with that car!!
When we rolled up to Encore we all got out of the car and made our way through the casino to XS...skipped line (of Course) VIP ...and they walked us down to our table that over looked the dance floor. The party definitely got started when we walked in...bottle were flowing and the DJ was spinning some MAD BEATS...I mean that music that makes you think of ONLY Vegas!
The people we were with were dropping some SERIOUS cash that night...and I mean they "MADE IT RAIN" a couple grand at a time. Something interesting, was Tony Romo had the table behind us with some of his buddies and when we tried to talk to him, he just acted to stuck up to care (come on dude your in Vegas!) ...so the girls grabbed some cash and made it rain on Tony...
LMAO it was so hilarious....after being there for awhile we moved on to the next one..We met up with John Quinn the Executive Directer of Casino Marketing and Player development at the Monte Carlo... and the guys from the Arizona Cardinals along with a few key players from the Playboy tournament to go to the new club EVE at the City Center. It was definitely a longggg night, only to be followed by an EARLY morning...but that's VEGAS for you.

Home Sweet Home

Over the past few months my life had been so crazy from traveling and work, that I hadn't taken the time to just be home...I missed the two boys who had my heart (Trae and Bentley)...I can honestly say I was home sick and it felt good to be home. I previously had rescued a new addition to our family when I got home from LA.
Her name is Lilah...she was a precious 8 month old brindle boxer. When I saw her cute little face I knew she was the one. Trae and I had been talking about getting another boxer but I knew that I wanted to adopt, it was just a matter of time for finding the right one. So I had brought her home and she fit in just right with our family. She was attached to my side...the most precious little girl I could of asked for.
Trae and I worked our usual days, I even took Lilah to visit my office with me a few days. We would come home to spend time together, and our choice of TV was the NBA finals, and I would make dinner... I had missed how normal we were as a family. I loved his kisses and just being surrounded by familiar faces. He was the rock that kept me grounded in the crazy world that we live in. I felt safe in his arms at night. I could tell the traveling made me miss and appreciate HOME so much more.
The puppies were growing accustomed to each other and really having a good time playing...Trae and I had started this workout routine to prepare for a trip I had planned for his birthday at the end of May...it meant extremely early mornings to the gym and cardio around our neighborhood, and a strict diet, with consisted mainly of water, protein shakes, and supplements, with some chicken sprinkled in here and there...LOL, it was NO joke...when I got home one day my two kiddos were behaving so well, as I prepared my chicken breast and broccoli for dinner...they were just sitting there waiting for me to take them outside to play...I loved their faces and the way they looked at me. We were a family, a cute, perfect, little family...I couldn't ask for much more than that.  We spent that evening all cuddled up in the same bed watching TV...It was one of my favorite things that we did before bed time...I was happy, genuinely happy, I had everything I had dreamed of right in front of me. It was a peaceful nights sleep that night. The next day I found out that I was going to be leaving again in a week or so for a another tournament...this time it was in Vegas.

A night in DC

So overly exhausted we were, that we ended up not going to see the fireworks over the Tidal Basin...instead we napped and then got ready to grab some food close to the hotel in Arlington. We enjoyed dinner at this Irish pub, called Ireland's Four Courts, it was so cute and they even had live music. The food was good, we had some yummy sweet tea vodka drinks to go with our meal and Mom enjoyed her much deserved glass of wine. As we finished up with dinner, Mom was tired and I was ready to go out in Georgetown. So we caught a cab back to the hotel...and OHH what a ride that was...I swear it was like a rollercoaster...probably the craziest cab ride I have ever been on in my life.
This cab driver no joke was probably going about 75 mph down Clarendon Blvd. We made it safely back to the hotel in one piece and dropped off Mom. Then we headed over to meet Joey and some friends for an interesting night out. We started at this place down on the river at Washington Harbour called Nick's Riverside Grille. They had a bar outside that over looked the docks to the Potomac River. It was a cool scene but was kinda chilly, because it was that close to the water . So we finished our drinks and headed over to K street. Our first stop was Lotus Lounge. This is when the night really got started...the DJ was spinning good beats and the shots started flowing...we were dancing and having a great time in great company!
Joey definitely was showing us a different side to DC...the local nightlife scene. Our next stop for our extravaganza that night was a place called kstreet lounge. As we walked up we moved past the line VIP style and made our way to meet up with friends at a table. The interior style was a little more retro contemporary...but very posh... It was my favorite stop of the night. I met some cool people there as we all danced and chilled around our table sipping drinks out the bottle. It was definitely a great night...we were enjoying our youth. When we left here we made another stop at Lima...forgive me for not remembering that place other than the hundreds of small disco balls hanging from the ceiling catching the rays of colored strobe lights around us, but it was pretty awesome.
In conversation somewhere along the night we found out that "The Stairs" from the movie The Exorcist were just across the river from where our hotel was...so we somehow got the bright idea to go see them at like 3am and when we pulled up swear I got creepy chills, but it was pretty awesome to see them in person I know we spent a good hour or so playing around on these steps taking ridiculous drunk photos laughing so hard that I had to pee....
I watched Joey do a dangerous stunt as he decided to walk along the fence that was extremely high and it overlooked the bottom of the stairs. All in all, we had a great night. It was fun to see the city by locals instead of as a tourist...that is something that I am very fortunate to have. I have friends all over the US and not only that but, Great friends that I trust to take me out  and have a good time. Joey, is definitely one of those friends...I plan to come back and visit soon to finish up somethings that I missed this time around.
The next day we took our mom to see the stairs and caught a little bit of The Smithsonian, you know the one with "dinosaur bones and shyt" before we had to leave for our flight home..The Smithsonian, was sooooo cool...the things they had in there were pretty amazing. I definitely didn't get as much time to walk through it as I wanted...but it was still pretty awesome, but what I did get to see...The mummies were soooooo cool, I felt like a kid running through a museum. This trip was a much needed mother/ daughter bonding time...we had some great laughs and swollen feet, LOL but it was awesomeness!

My Steps Through US History

The morning came soon enough and we were up and ready to walk our happy little hearts out that day. Breakfast consisted of Starbucks  and fruit from our hotel then we grabbed a cab to head to National Mall. The cabby dropped us off and our adventure began. On the way back the day before we passed a giant statue of Albert Einstein. We made this our first stop that morning because the kid in us wanted to climb on him for pictures. We spent sometime reading his quotes taking pics and looking at our map to figure out our plan of action from there.
The next stop which was my favorite was the Lincoln Memorial. Growing up in grade school history was one of my favorite classes. I remembered always seeing this significant statue at the end of the reflecting pool and have dreamed of walking up the steps to it. It was finally time. Honest Abe was one of my favorite presidents in history and everything that he stood for... "FREEDOM".... The speeches that he gave throughout history were engraved on the walls inside for people to read. It was unbelievable how small I felt next to the statue, but how powerful I felt leaving, his quotes have always inspired me.
Another meaningful place to me was standing in the location of the speech "I HAVE A DREAM" - made by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom August 28, 1963. It gave me chills as I stood there and looked out over the Reflecting Pool and tried to imagine this moment in time, and how it changed our history and future.
Before we left the Memorial we had to take a classic "DC" picture...It was touching the Washington Monument from across the Reflecting pool. At the end of the pool was a the new World War II Memorial. This was so new that veterans from the war were making trips to see this before they passed. It was so surreal to see the men who fought for our country years before remembering those who passed by their sides. It was such a beautiful memorial.
The day before I had called me friend Joey to see is he was able to come visit with us that day. While we waited to meet up with him we ventured around the Tidal Basin enjoying the breeze and beautiful blossoming trees. There were families having picnic lunches, couples laying under the trees reading books, it was peaceful in some places, and everyone was really enjoying the wonderful weather for Easter weekend.
We could see the Jefferson Memorial  but decided not to walk that far since we were going to meet Joey by the Smithsonian. It was manic chaos at National Mall around lunch time....so we headed over to Chinatown. Joey wanted to take us to a great Italian place over there....YES, YES, I know it sounds a bit funny, but it was really unique and delicious. It was called VAPIANO.
The signature Vapiano is a fast casual restaurant with a twist - customers use a "chip card" to personally order their food or drinks from the bar or from the individual fresh pizza, pasta or salad stations, and when you check out they just check you card....How awesome! You could pretty much order anything you wanted in any style...Everything was fresh made to order. I had the best seafood pasta and everyone else enjoyed their own pizzas...We started our afternoon cocktails also over lunch...Which is where my favorite drink Sweet tea vodka was introduced to my sister. After lunch we walked around DC, we saw the FBI building, Fords Theatre, The National Archives building, Spy Museum, and even knocked on the doors to OZ...(OK that's the kid in me again, I pretended it was...)
Our day was coming to a close until we decided to try and catch the last viewing at Arlington National Cemetery. Joey took us across town and we managed to get in just before they closed. If you aren't familiar, With more than 300,000 people buried, Arlington National Cemetery has the second-largest number of people buried of any national cemetery in the United States. Arlington National Cemetery conducts approximately 6,900 burials each year.
The cherry blossom trees were sprinkled so perfectly adding a sparkle of beauty to such a sad place. The Tomb of the Unknowns is one of the more-visited sites at Arlington National Cemetery. It is made from Yule marble quarried in Colorado. It consists of seven pieces, with a total weight of 79 tons. The Tomb was completed and opened to the public April 9, 1932. Three unknown servicemen are buried at the Tomb of the Unknowns:
Unknown Soldier of World War I, interred Nov. 11, 1921. President Harding presided. Unknown Soldier of World War II, interred May 30, 1958. President Eisenhower presided. Unknown Soldier of the Korean Conflict, interred May 30, 1958. President Eisenhower presided, Vice President Nixon acted as next of kin. An Unknown Soldier of the Vietnam Conflict, interred May 28, 1984. President Reagan presided. The remains of the Vietnam Unknown were disinterred May 14, 1998, and were identified as those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael J. Blassie, whose family has re-interred him near their home in St. Louis, Mo.
It has been determined that the crypt at the Tomb of the Unknowns that contained the remains of the Vietnam Unknown will remain empty.) The Tomb of the Unknowns is guarded by the U.S. Army 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The 3rd U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard) began guarding the Tomb April 6, 1948. We got to see the changing of the guards ceremony, which was breathtaking.
A uniformed relief commander appears on the plaza to announce the Changing of the Guard. Soon the new sentinel leaves the Quarters and unlocks the bolt of his or her M-14 rifle to signal to the relief commander to start the ceremony. The relief commander walks out to the Tomb and salutes, then faces the spectators and asks them to stand and stay silent during the ceremony. Its so quiet that you can hear every step. It is definitely something that everyone must see when you visit DC. The Guards of Honor at the Tomb of the Unknowns are highly motivated and are proud to honor all American service members who are "Known But to God." It was a great way to close the day to our walk through history...It brought me much appreciation to my country and the men who gave their lives for us, because they believed in the fight for freedom.
